Long time no gram! And it’s time for an update! 💕 . I’ve missed showing my face in social media 🙌 I wish I could tell you that I went in this long soul-searching trip around the world and that I purposely disconnected to find myself. But the truth is that sometimes we have to prioritize things in our lives and business and social media was one of the things I had to sacrifice in order to stay sane during a very stressful time in our family life. . I hate complaining, so please do not take it as a rant, but rather as me just sharing what our last few months were like, if anything I’m just thankful and grateful! . If you know us, you know that Ken started Paramedic school in January, it was a 9 month program were he had to attend class on his regular days off, he used to watch our 3 boys on his days off so I could get my work done. . Having no days off and studying every free second he had was very challenging for him, and also for our family. I reached a point where I was not sleeping in order to keep up with just the regular life with 3 little boys, plus my business. . So while I did attempt to keep posting and sharing, I burned up fast and decided to better just come back when things were a tad more normal. . Well, things are finally starting to get back to normal! 🎉 yay! . Kenny took one of his last test last week and we celebrated him and me taking my oath for my USA citizenship in the same week! . During the summer my sister came to spend a few months with us so she could help me, and so did my mom at the beginning of the year. . I am so thankful for the help everyone around us gave us and for the continuos encouragement. We knew it was going to be demanding, and we are thrilled that it’s finally over! Hehe! . While I was disconnected I did work on a lot of things that I am excited to share and re-designed both my blogs and shops to make them load faster. . This weekend we are having a triple birthday party for the boys and I’m excited to show you guys what we are working on! . I’m so excited to be back!! 💕💕 Ps. We took this picture in the camper for our Christmas cards! We had to have one sad face, but that's the best we could do lol 😂

I need your help! . For the top of our kitchen, I found the perfect cutting board with wise, but it ended up being too short and only covers ¾ of the area I want to cover. . I am thinking about maybe adding a piece to this cutting board, but matching the wood would be a pain (I think!? 🤔 ) . Or maybe I should just make a new one from scratch and make it the exact size I need? . I would like to cover the whole top of the kitchen and maybe replace that metal cover, I like that you move it back and serves as a splash cover for the containers in the back, but it looks so ugly all by itself 🤨 . (Swipe for the before⏩) . What do you guys think? . Fix it, or start from scratch? . . . . . Ps. I am excited to hopefully paint the outside of our camper this upcoming summer! 🎨🖌️. . For now, we just added some lights and a deer wreath to make it look prettier (don't tell Ken I used the word pretty to refer to the camper 😆) . I also just ordered a new rug for outside that I am SO EXCITED about! . I am planning to make a cool mural on the back panel of the camper, but I still need to find the perfect words. . At first, we wanted to letter Barefoot Detour on the back, but we decided against it just in case we want to change campers in the future. . So here’s where I would love your help! . Nothing like fresh flowers and a working kitchen sink! 👌🌸🌷 . It took a very long time for us to have water because I guess our camper had this weird measurement of pipes that were not too easy to find, on top of us having a deeper sink that had to be repositioned. So we were using water bottles for everything and I had to remind the boys every two seconds not to pour anything down the sink 😬🥺 . (swipe for a view of the before) . I am so excited to be able to brush my teeth in our bathroom and wash everything inside! . Oh the simple joys of running water! . .
