Looking for campervan interior conversions to inspire your next adventure? Maybe you just want to add some #vanlife to your Instagram feed? In this post, I am going to share some seriously beautiful interior camper van conversions that will make you give this alternative living a try!
It is not a secret that #vanlife is a seriously hot topic right now, and whether you want to be a weekend warrior, a full-time vandweller, or are just considering becoming a digital nomad, I am sure this list of van campers will inspire you!
There is something so magical about being able to take your house wherever you go, being able to climb in “your own” bed after a long weekend hike, or just having the freedom to go off-grid and work from a remote location. This seemed like something that you could only achieve as a retirement plan or if you had a ton of money to be able to get all that time off work.
Technology has not only made this dream an achievable goal for a younger generation but has also helped them connect, share ideas and evolve this idea of the conversion of a van to a whole different level!
Kull kitchens, solar panels, full wifi, and showers (yes showers) are just some of the amenities that some of these camper vans have to offer.
And the beauty of all of them is that just like in a brick and stick houses, they are filled with the personality of their owners, some of them even have furry companions, and it’s just so awesome to see.

And now without further ado, let’s dig into the list of these six beautiful campervan interior conversions!
I fell in love with this van while scrolling Instagram one day, and ever since it’s the top one in my swoon list. Yamanomad means Mountain Nomad, and it’s an account and business run by husband and wife Alex and Patrick, they converted this Mercedes Sprinter into a dream home that you can rent for your next trip in Canada, they are located in Calgary and you can check out more pictures of their beautiful interior conversion in their website.
One of the things I loved the most about this van is that even with the limited space, they made it look so roomy (it even has a bathroom with shower!!)
The floors and shiplap ceilings give it a perfect touch of modern farmhouse style, and the warmth of the leather seats brings everything together.
Another swoon-worthy detail is their butcher block countertop! This is exactly what I wanted for our camper renovation, but it would have taken us out of budget and weight, so we decided to go with a lighter and more economical option.
Guys! A bathroom with a shower!! Do I really need to say anything else??
yup, I didn’t think so.
My nerdy artistic side also loved that they had @vanlifer create this awesome sketch of their conversion, and to preview things better they also made digital renders (full color and all) to make sure everything fit perfect before starting, that is so smart and I love how real their rendering looked, you can check it out here and here.
ps. If you are looking to have your conversion rendered, they announced that they are offering that service as well.
This conversion is so clean, simple and elegant! Kensie and Joey are a super cool couple living in their van full time.
They renovated a 2010 Mercedes Sprinter, you can see their full tour here, and you can also see the process of their second build for a client in their youtube channel here. They have been traveling all over California and Arizona, you can check more of their adventures in their Instagram here.
One thing I absolutely love about this conversion is how clean and modern it looks, they have a ton of storage and the contrasting black wall along with the black faucet makes those details stand out so much.
I also really like that they used faux-shiplap for their walls and ceiling, I mean, who doesn’t like the simple and timeless look of shiplap!
This is definitely an account to fall in love with! Jace and Giddi have been living in the road since 2016 and are now in their 3rd self-converted Sprinter, they also now have the addition of their daughter Juniper and their furry baby Lotus.
You should definitely follow them on IG and add a little yellow (the color of their Sprinter) to your feed! You can also check out all the details of their home on wheels on this page of their website.
This conversion, just like the one above features shiplap walls and ceiling that I am obsessed about! And that yellow exterior is so fun!
This is such a beautiful conversion and it’s even more special that there’s actually 4 of them living in the van! (3 humans and a doggie)
Chris and Lisa run their business @roveandswig and also live in this beautiful van named Leslie, a converted 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo 4×4 2500 High Roof 170WB, their business is located in California but they travel as much as possible and run their business from anywhere the road leads them.
Probably the one thing that instantly caught my attention about this beautiful conversion is the amazing wood countertops, the texture, and grain in that wood are to-die-for! And I love how their backsplash end in a geometrical yet scatter way, it’s so lovely!
Sydney Ferbrache is a solo female van traveler, she has an adorable puppy named Ella (she has her own IG account) and they both travel and work from the road. Sydney has a 2017 Ford Transit and she shares all the details of her conversion on this page of her blog.
I love the pop of natural wood in her sides and the contrast with the white shiplap of her ceilings, also those turquoise details make me oh so happy!
Her kitchen is so beautiful, and it seems so big!
I am so in love with this conversion! The only problem is that I always need to translate them because they share almost everything in German? But even if I can only understand a little bit, the pictures of their Europe travel speak for themselves. In the door, you can see little Perry.
I love their kitchen and how branded their van is! If you want o check some extra pictures, they also have a facebook page here.
Their pictures are breathtaking!
I love the contrast of their ceiling, the clean lines of the walls, and the butcher block countertops just tie everything together!
Such a modern look with just enough color to make anyone swoon!
They also had @vanlifer draw their house on wheels and it looks beyond adorable!
This gorgeous conversion by Jake and Gianna will take your breath away! They converted a 2011 Sprinter Van to live full-time with their adorable daughter Luna. They have a full Van tour that you can check on their Youtube channel. Their conversion features a full bathroom, beautiful shiplap walls, and subway tile. Be sure to follow them on Instagram for more.
I bet that by now you, just like me are considering a road trip in this kind of luxury!
Small space living and VanLife is not going away anywhere soon, so I am excited to see what the future holds for this amazing way of life.
